In a collaboration between #bossbabesATX and missfits fest, a one-day festival celebrating Asian-American, self-identifying women in entrepreneurship and the arts, I had the opportunity to interview the festival producers. The interview covered a range of topics from the motives behind the festival, and their personal experiences as Asian American women in America. In my Digital Media course I ran a social media strategy simulation for Buhi, a bag and backpack company. For the simulation the goals were to grow brand awareness, increase engagement, and increase sales. After running the simulation on different target audiences, I was able to gain insight on the best combination of posting times, audience key word targeting, and brand aesthetics.
